    Emergency Tree Service

It’s storm season in Oklahoma and that means severe weather and possible property damage.  Located in the heart of Tornado Alley, Oklahoma weather can wreak havoc on trees.  Thunderstorms, high winds, and tornadoes can result in entire trees being snapped over or uprooted and broken branches and stems that can cause extensive damage or pose extreme risks requiring emergency tree service.

    RISK FACTORS

While no tree is safe from Mother Nature, some trees are more susceptible to severe weather and storm damage. Trees with certain conditions, like cracked soil, root rot, clustered canopies, or poor branch structure (such as codominant stems), are more likely to fail in extreme weather.  Regular tree service maintenance, including tree trimming, pruning, and/or cabling can help prevent trees from sustaining and/or causing damage during a storm.  Annual inspection by an ISA Certified Arborist is also recommended as part of regular tree service.

    REMOVAL

Safely removing a large stem or tree off of a home or other property is an extremely tedious process that requires a high level of skill and knowledge of locally-owned tree services and possible tree removal to prevent further damage or personal injury to the property owner.  Tree service is already inherently dangerous and in many cases, downed trees can present even more of a danger as they may be tangled with other trees or electrical lines or may have fallen onto or through property.

The proper response to a tree emergency requires expert experience, technique, and tools of a tree service company and it is extremely important to hire a professional and qualified tree service.

BENEFITS OF USING A PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE

It can be difficult to choose an arborist for tree services and most people don’t know what qualifications to look for.  Here are some helpful tips to selecting a tree trimming company.

The Tulsa tree service that you hire should be:

    • ISA Certified Arborist.  A Tulsa Certified Arborist will provide accurate assessments and ensure that proper and safe tree removal and tree trimming techniques are used during tree service.

    • Experts in tree care.  You should hire an experienced arborist that works strictly on trees rather than hiring a company that offers tree trimming and tree removal as one of its multiple services.

    • Safety First.  Qualified tree services will be well-versed on industry safety regulations and employees will be properly trained.

    • Fully insured for BOTH liability and workers’ compensation.  A tree service is NOT fully insured unless it carries both types of insurance. A Certificate of Insurance should come directly from the agent to ensure that the policies are current to perform tree services.

    • Fully equipped.  Tree work can be messy and a professional and qualified tree service will have the proper equipment to haul away all tree debris for tree removals and cleanup properly in an efficient manner.

    • Accredited.  TCIA Accreditation helps consumers recognize the top tree companies in the industry.

    Client Reviews

Absolutely the best! They had a small area to work with and valuable property all the way around them. Nonetheless, their technical skill combined with their state-of-the-art equipment was beyond comforting to watch. The man power behind the skill and equipment was just as impressive! No labor shortage here! I feel so smart for picking Trees By Jake. (My husband came in and saw all the equipment and teams working, and said, “This is so impressive. Where did you find this team!?”)

A large crew spent 2 fulls days at our property removing trees, trimming trees that were not removed, and installing multiple cables to help with stability. We were impressed every step of the way - from our initial contact with Allison in the office to completion. Jake is a certified arborist and came out and spent a good deal of time with us to discuss options. The estimate we received was professional and made it very easy to approve the work. Any questions we had were answered in a timely manner and we received an insurance certificate showing all of their policies. The men working were friendly and very professional. Our property looks amazing and we will continue to hire them for maintenance.

    Lisa Wishman

Wow!! So impressed! From the quote to the time they left, it was totally impressed. Great value for the money. Their equipment is top notch. The techs were professional. I had 6 trees removed, all very close to the house. They made me feel safe as they knew what they were doing. Would definitely use again and highly recommend Trees by Jake.

    Jim Greenlee

We have used Jake Tree Service several times for various projects and have been very impressed with their professionalism and quality of their work each time. We had a very large tree branch blown down after the last storm, blocking our gate. Jake's crew was out the next day to remove it. Thank you, Jake! Your are the best.

    Thomas McCoy

I had a large limb fall on my house. The job was more than I could tackle my self. I knew I needed an expert. I called Trees by Jake and they got me taken care of. Great service, cleaned up after the job. Simply great. I highly recommend them. I will be sure to use them again. The price was very reasonable considering the work that had to be done.

    John Scatamacchia

We loved our experience with Trees by Jake. Jake and Allison were professional, easy to communicate with, and so personable. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work they did. 10/10 experience. We will definitely use them again!
